This book is more general in its humor than Mr. Poyner's first book, which focused on living in Alaska. It is no less funny, however. I had many laugh out loud moments and look forward to a third book. My poor husband is happy I am done with the book because I read in bed and had trouble keeping the bed from shaking with "silent" laughter, along with waking him in those not-so-silent moment when I couldn't help myself.

I love the book. In very funny language talks about real life and challenges that involves active men. Read it , you will enjoy
It was very funny and written from a man's point of view. I would recommend it to anyone who has a daughter getting married.
Great read that is full of humor and situations that are applicable to more than Alaska, this one just happens to take place in Alaska where there are unique challenges. I think most folks will have had similar experiences maybe without the cold and that's what makes it universally funny.
Like his other book, hilarious and I keep reading and reading and suddenly I am half through it. I can identify with just about everything in the book, everyday life, the home repairs.

I keep looking for more by A. E. Poynor because I like his writing.
A.E. Poynor has written a book that makes me laugh hard enough to warrant keeping a box of Depends handy. I'm a fan of particularly dry humor, and he's got it down pat. This comedian takes everyday life and converts it to absolute hilarity. Don't let the title fool you; you needn't have any knowledge of moose or Alaska to enjoy this book or this author.
The stories are pretty amusing. I guess putting them all together in a book is a bit too much for me. Although the author has a sense of humour, it all becomes quite predictable after a couple of episodes. You probably should take your time reading this book, just one story at the time.
