You never expect to meet your soulmate after you die. And you definitely never expect your soulmate not to have a soul at all.
But that’s what happened to Addison. One minute she’s walking along in her average life, worrying about curfew, and the next minute she’s in hell.
Addison was living a typical teenager’s life before being dragged down to hell to atone for her sins on Earth. She must now make up for her bad behaviour but is not expecting to meet her match in Ethan. Devilish good looks, charming smirk, an attitude to match, oh, and he’s Satan’s Son. Addison must now navigate the channels of hell with the reluctant guidance of Ethan as he atones for his own error. But could his mistake be closer linked to Addison’s death than she knows? Neither Addison or Ethan were planning to find love but now that they’re here, which will it be Heaven or Hell?“If this is what hell is like, i’d better start sinning so I can guarantee my way in! The romance between Addison and Ethan is sinfully good, I love the playfulness between them countered by their intoxicating passion.” - Yvette D

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.I found this book to be a quick easy read. The author's ideas are original. I liked the basic idea behind the plot, although I do feel that the storyline could have been better executed.
The characters felt flat and one dimensional. Addison finds herself in hell but instead of mourning for the life and loved ones she lost, she immediately attaches herself to Ethan and begins to annoy the hell out of him like it's her job. And continues to do so for the rest of the book. There is really no character development. Her brief job as a guide (I did enjoy this view of hell. People were given jobs to help make things better and redeem themselves eventually) did not bring about any change or growth. She started her "life" in hell as an annoying brat and basically stayed that way. The author did make the character of Ethan a bit more complex, but I felt that she had opportunities to add more depth to his character that were not acted upon. Interactions between the characters also felt flat. It seemed as though there was too much dialog and not enough attention paid to actions, facial expressions, etc that could better convey the characters' emotions. Unfortunately, this made certain situations feel unauthentic and not believable. This would have been an amazing story had the author taken the time to develop her characters and be more descriptive.
This book was a quick read that had original ideas and an ok storyline. Overall, I feel like it was worth the time I spent reading it and would recommend it to people looking for a quick easy read.

Satan Son eBook Simone Elise Reviews
This was a somewhat interesting story, definitely an interesting take on hell and the devil and hell's dynamics. The characters were developed enough, and there was plenty of background info for the reader to understand each of the characters and their personalities, why they did and felt the things they did.
An easy, quick read, I'd recommend this to someone looking for just that.
Addy got killed getting by a car now she's in hell literally. The son of hell Ethan is suppose to show her around. Addy is spitfire she will make you laugh out loud how her personality is. Ethan has watched over Addy his whole life trying to protect her and has loved her. Wow such a cute story that has you loving it all till the end.
This was a really good story, very unique plot and times was extremely funny!!
I thought Addy and Ethan were very funny together, I loved how much he irritated her but being her guide and the son of Satan was a bigger problem than she thought lol.
I've read a few books by this author and I can honestly say all her plots are really interesting and different. This is definitely one you should check out!!
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book
Satan's Son is an amazing love story. The main character, Addison, is fun and witty and lovable. Ethan is broody and intense. Together they make one hell of a couple.
The journey that Addison and Ethan take is one of sarcasm, raw emotions and true love.
This book truly shows that love conquers all and can be found in the most unexpected places.
I would most definitely recommend this to my fellow bibliophiles and this is absolutely on my reread list.
I received a copy and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I enjoyed this story. It gives you a whole other look on the afterlife and hell in particular. One minute Addison is going about her life, thinking about how her father is going to yell that she is past curfew and then... she dies in a car accident. She "wakes up" not knowing she's dead or that she is in hell and has to pay for her misdeeds. Her sentence is to act as a guider - trying to stop people desperate enough to try to commit suicide or follow some path that could lead to their demise. And poor Ethan has to train her.
From the minute she meets Ethan - Satan's son - there is chemistry (and somewhat of a mystery concerning his "interest" in her life/death). Addison is inquisitive, sassy, frustrating, stubborn. I thought the plot was well thought out. Although, the college scene felt out of place to me.
Overall, this was a unique, fun read
Satan’s Son is a refreshingly unique love story. Addy is a high-spirited young adult who ends up literally falling into the life of Ethan, a child of Satan who has to atone for his own sins. The story focuses on the relationship between the two as they try to learn to work with each other.
Both characters are entertaining and well written. Addy is not the typical “damsel in distress” and has a very distinct personality, which was refreshing even if it was over the top and juvenile in a few places. Ethan pulls off the Alpha male role without being overly domineering or abusive.
The story is fast paced but not a bodice ripper. If you are looking for detailed sex scenes then you want a different book. This is about two people who are stuck together and learn they love each other after quite a bit of trial. It does not end with a cliffhanger but it does make me curious if there will be other books set in this world. There are a few side characters that could be developed into having their own stories.
One issue with the story was the introduction of Archibald. He shows up in the middle of the book and out of nowhere but there is no explanation of who he is. Given his role in the story, he should have had his own personality instead of simply being a male version of Addy.
There are also a few plot points that were glossed over. I have mixed feelings about this issue. The story is character driven so the details of why different things were happening wasn’t as important as the characters reactions. It’s also not an in-depth novel so skipping some details, like whom Archibald is, missing is probably to be expected.
Overall, I enjoyed this book and look forward to more work from this author. The story was refreshing and written as a proper romance. I was provided an ARC copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
