As my niece has said, the recipes in this book are deeeee-licious! I have now tried four of the recipes in this book, and the results so far have been outstanding! On two of these occasions I had my niece and nephew help with the baking (and eating, of course!), and they are in complete agreement with me that the recipes are fantastic. Several other friends and family members have tried the muffins made from these recipes, and the muffins have received very positive reviews from all parties.The novice baker will find a good introduction to baking techniques in the tutorial at the beginning of the book. I have been baking for some time now, yet I learned a few things as well. The method that the author uses to ensure that no dough is spilled is very creative, and I have found in my experience (at least so far in trying it with 4 different recipes) that it works!
I particularly like the blueberry muffin recipe, and I absolutely love, LOVE, the Double Chocolate Chunk! The recipes include numerous general desserts, but also include holiday themed muffins, dinner muffins (try the pizza muffin, you won't be sorry :), and several gluten free muffin recipes. For each recipe, the directions are clear and well written. You will have no trouble following them.
Overall this is an excellent book for the novice or experienced baker- and your friends and family will thank you if you make some of these.

Oh My! This book is packed full of yummy recipes.... I have a sister in law who loves to bake. Can't wait for here to make me the Easy Banana Chocolate Almond Surprise and the Aunt Geri's Pumpkin Cream Muffin from this recipe book!
The author does a great job of providing you all the ingredients and a step by step guide to making these muffins in an easy to read and follow format.

I love the variety of muffin recipes in this book. There is everything from basic, but delicious muffin recipes to decadent dessert type muffin recipes, to main dish muffin recipes, to even some gluten free options.
In addition to the great muffin recipes, there are also some great baking tips to help you have great results, even if you don't have much baking experience.
If you like muffins, buy this book!
