This book has a lot higher amount of drama and sadness because of things that transpire. This Riley group is never failing in the entertainment! Shey does such a great job is keeping you engaged and making you feel like you are best friends with this family! LOVE IT ALL!!
i never put spoilers in my reviews!!! I would give this a very healty 4.5 stars. excellent, excellent read. i bought print copies for my greatest hits shelf ) ok.... this was book two in a four part series. i am loving this story! i will admit... there were a couple of editing issues and the nascar talk gets a bit much at times and i get a little lost.... but i have learned a lot about camshafts and boring! lol the way this is written you can actually feel the energy! i loved the racing scenes! and i know NOTHING about nascar! all aspects of this story have me hooked. there was no "oh i can't wait to get to the next chapter when it gets back to the other story line." sway and jameson are incredible characters! their relationship, their understanding and acceptance of one another, it is so genuine. the supporting characters are just as incredible. the profanity is hilarious.... sounds weird but true. and some of the situations are down right ridiculous but i found myself in hysterics. Vegas? the fork? self tanner? and on the next page i am crying. darrin? hate him. the books are a bit on the longer side, but i love that. to me, the style is similar to tina reber's love unscriped/unrehearsed. very detailed. i think that is what makes you fall in love with these characters. I am starting book three. after reading the first two books i have an incling of some things to come. some good.... some not so good. so excited to read book 3!!! (and a little scared!)
Loved this continuation of Sway & Jameson's story! It was nice to see them pretty much get to their happy ever after. I'm incredibly intrigued to see what's in store for these two with the next few books in the series.
So glad this book was written. It gives you a good backstory, and helped me understand that characters better. Highly recommend it!
If I was Sway I am sure that I would have wet my pants a time or two! Hilarious! Seriously hilarious and sad too.
This book was such and emotional read. It had me feeling all of Sway's emotions right along with her. This love between Jameson and Sway is amazing. Shey Stahl is and phenomenal author. She really captures what the racing life is like. I can't put her books down.
I stumbled across the 1st book 2 days again and have raced through the pages to find out what every page had to say. I live this series so far and can't wait to read the others, I'm totally invested in these characters, they're my friends and family even after only 2 books. SHEY STAHL has a new fan in me.
